TODAY

      Today I'm determined to get some writing done in one of my novels. I was hoping to get a good hour's worth of work done but my son woke my 3 yr old up this morning. While she's up I will not be able to get much writing done. She is always messing with something so you have to keep your eye on her. Right now for example, as I'm typing she's combing my hair. Now she walks away and grabs my son's cell phone and walks off with that. She just came back in my room and now she's messing with things atop of my dresser drawer. In the midst of her messing I will get something done today, even if it's only a page! One page is better than none! Have a blessed day all!

SOME IS BETTER THAN NONE

I'm trying to get as much writing in as I possibly can in the midst of everything else. Trying to keep the children entertained for the Summer, maintain my household, and have a healthy pregnancy. I'm currently working on two novels, as you already know from past posts. It would be nice to have them complete before the baby arrives. I did get some work done but not as much as I hoped for. My three year old needs a lot of my time and attention throughout the day. I have to run my 15 yr old to football practice twice a day. Once in the morning and again in the evening. Then trying to clean, cook, do laundry, and run errands takes up a big chunk of my day as well. About time my 3yr old goes to bed I'm to exhausted to try to focus on writing. My plate is full and my cup runneth over these days, but I'm still pressing my way to get things done. Slowly but surely!  Wish me luck!!! :)

 It's been a while since I've been able to write, but today I'm getting back on track. I just finished adding more to one of my novels. Between nursing this kid and that kid back to health, tending to household chores, and just everyday life I hadn't had time to write. It really felt good getting some writing in today. It was only about two pages worth, but some is better than none!

I woke up feeling really tired. I looked outside to see snow falling. March is such an unpredictable month as far as weather goes. My mom, my brothers, my nieces and nephew will be arriving home from South Beach tonite. I know they are going to hate returning to the cold from nice, warm, sunny beach days. I know I would be! I pray they have a safe journey back home. Have a great night!!!

It's been a few days since I've been able to write in my novels. My youngest son hasn't been feeling well and now the baby is sick as well. I took her to the Dr's yesterday. She has pink eye, a sore throat, runny nose, and a cough. On top of that they gave her an unexpected and unplanned shot. I wasn't to happy about that, but she was a trooper. She didn't even cry, such a tough little cookie! :) Hoping to get some writing done tomorrow because it's been a few days.

WRITING UPDATE~ February 25th

Good morning!
         It's raining outside my window and very gloomy. It may not be the perfect weather for jogging or getting a new hairstyle but it's great for writing. I got up this morning, got the kids off to school, and grabbed a croissant and a cup of apple juice. Afterwards, I ran straight to my computer and got some writing done. I am only on page 34 in both novels but I'm getting things done slowly but surely. The baby slept late this morning so that was a plus for me. Now she's awake and ready to do some damage. Lol  Have a blessed day!

WORKING...WORKING...WORKING...........A WRITING UPDATE!

  Happy that I'm making some progress on my novel. I have gotten quite a bit of writing done in one of the novels. Just finished working on the novel for women and I'm ready to hit my bed, hard! I am totally exhausted. I need a good night's rest and hoping to jump back in sometime tomorrow. I want to finish both books by a certain time. I set my own personal deadline and I pray I can keep it. :)  GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLESS!!!

BOOK UPDATE

Good evening! Happy to report that after a long day I got some writing done. Once the children arrived home from school they did homework and ate dinner. I made fried chicken, garlic and cheddar mashed potatoes, corn, and biscuits. We had brownies for dessert and then headed out to the mall to pay on a bill. Came back home, got everyone situated, and sat down to write. In this house you really have to be determined to get any writing done while everyone is still awake. I'm glad to get a few pages done. It's not much but it's better than nothing.

NURSE & WRITER

   I got some writing done today, but not as much as I would have liked. I'm a bit tired my 7 year old son and my husband isn't feeling well. In the midst of tending to them and taking care of my 3 year old daughter, writing time is kind of low. I finished chapter 1 and began chapter 2 in the novel for the married women. I'll probably do some writing in my young adult novel tonite once I've taken a nap. So glad it's Friday so I can sleep in tomorrow morning. I won't have to get up and get anyone ready for school. I don't know what type of weather is headed your way this weekend but we're expecting more snow here. If you are too, please be safe on the roadways. God bless!

BOOKS # 6 & 7

Really trying to buckle down and get some substantial amount of work done on my next two novels. One is a third part of a trilogy I've been working on for young adults. Book # 7 is strictly focused on the grown ups, married women to be exact. There are so many things married women with children go through and it needs to be heard. As I began to work on them and make progress I'll be leaving updates here on my blog. More to come so stay tuned. Have a great evening! God bless!!
