Mood: Tired

     I just finished baking four sweet potato pies for my family to have this weekend. I am exhausted but looking forward to tomorrow morning to get some writing done. I didn't get much done in the writing department this week, pain got in the way. I took a tumble down my front steps and hurt myself. I was using crutches for two days but it's getting better now. I can limp around off and on now. My right foot was swollen and hurt like crazy. I had to ice it for the last two days and try to stay off my feet; which is really hard to do when you have a family to tend to. I did not like not being able to cook or drive. My impersonation of a Flamingo is on point! Lol I had to stand on my left foot and my right foot was up behind me when I did the dishes or tried to cook a little bit.
       Hoping the kids sleep in today and I will have time to get up early, pray, make my coffee and hit the keyboard. I want to get some good writing done this morning before it's time to make the pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Have a great night's rest!

   Yesterday I had a hellish migraine so I couldn't get much writing done but I will make up for that today. I am working on two books currently. One is titled "PERCEPTION" and the other is titled "Church Folk" and I am enjoying the writing process.

Holiday break = Writing for me

Good evening!
         I am more excited about the kids short break from school than they are. No school for them means they can sleep in and I can have more quiet time to write. I am working on two new books and I am hoping to have them done before the New Year kicks in and have them published by no later than January 2017. Wish me luck!!! Have a great holiday weekend! Enjoy the turkey and it's trimmings as well as your family members!

SOMETHING OLD AND NEW!!!

Good evening!

         I started a book in the past and it was just sitting on a USB for about a year and a half. I had forgotten all about it because I couldn't find it on my computer and assumed it had gotten deleted. My son needed a USB for school so I grabbed one of my old ones. When I plugged it into the computer to delete anything that was left on it I came across and old project I started and thought I lost. To my surprise, there it was just awaiting me to discover it! Being that I found it after a year and a half I took it as a sign that it was meant to be finished. Needless to say I am currently working on this book, again! Now I am working on two books that have to be finished.

Back to PERCEPTION

       Migraine had me down for 24 hours so that puts me so far behind in getting things done. Behind in housework, writing, laundry etc. Of course housework, laundry and running errands trumps getting writing done so that gets pushed back even further. I really want to get back to writing "PERCEPTION" and getting it done. The writing process is great but the publishing process and getting it ready for purchase is awesome! Love love love that moment. Hoping to get back to it this weekend.

Book Order.....

     I ordered two copies of The Beach House; one for me and one for my husband. I am curious to see how it is going to look because of the sizing. This is my first time publishing with the measurements I had to use this time. I am used to using 6x9 and this is my first time publishing using CreateSpace. Anyway, the books should be here by Monday since they didn't arrive today. I pray the cover looks the way it should and the inside printed out the way I set it up. 
         This week I will continue writing my latest book, Perception. Hoping to have it done and published by Thanksgiving.

          Good afternoon! I am so happy that I had the opportunity to get some writing done. Lately I haven't been able to really get into it due to migraine pain and life's schedule. The last two days I was blessed to get a few pages in each day. Praying that as each day goes by I'll get more and more work done. Have a wonderful day all!
